Cascade Bale Clamps can efficiently and economically
handle nearly any type of baled product. Examples include cotton, wool
and synthetic textile bales, corrugated, newsprint rag, hay and metal scrap
bales.
Fast arm speed
Cascade D-Series Bale Clamps (except 70D) feature a regenerative
hydraulic circuit for faster arm opening speeds with less energy consumption
a particularly valuable benefit for electric trucks.
Excellent driver visibility
The low profile frame gives the driver excellent visibility
over the frame. A special window cutout provides visibility through the
frame for second tier work.
The arm design also contributes to good visibility by
allowing the driver to see the back edge of the bale. |

with low overall clamp weight. This high strength, low weight combination
is the product of Cascade's unique I-beam arm bar and frame design.

I-beam arm bars
The I-beam arm bars have all the strength of much bulkier
and heavier square and round arm bar designs.
Aluminum alloy channels
Two extruded aluminum alloy channels carry the arm bars.
The aluminum channels are bolted to two steel plates, forming a rigid frame
that resists flexing.
Protected arm bearings
The nylon arm bar bearings are locked inside the aluminum
channels to protect them from damage.
Easy to service
Modular bolt-together construction makes parts replacement
fast and economical.
Protected valve
A heavy duty guard protects the valve on models with
a top mounted valve (Valve mounted behind and below frame on 40D non-sideshifting
and 70D non-revolving units). |
